Adrianne Dimitrakakis is the artist behind Atlas.

Adrianne is a contemporary artist, who’s artworks utilise a vintage aesthetic to convey memories of the many places passed through
and of those yet to be found. She is inspired by various places and cultures from her travels and those little things discovered while on the road; textured walls, fruit stands, old signage/posters and collected
trinkets along the way.
She has a love of things worn with a past life and that tell a story of time. Combining this with vivid hues, heavy worn textures and a sunny disposition, Adrianne’s work remind the viewer of the simple pleasures and

Previously working in marketing for a surf company, she travelled often for photoshoots and surf trips. It saw her travel to some beautiful, untouched remote islands. She would document her finds in sketches and on film and illustrate maps of the remote archipelagos and different travel locations.
​
With the storytelling of travel and surf in mind, she moved into art full time and Atlas born.
​
She plans to keep travelling, documenting her travels of each place and creating art from these experiences and key visuals. She aims to bring the sun to you and creates these pieces to serve as a true keepsake from your travels
